Everything you need to know about the Cloudrms modules for RMS Cloud — from your first order to day-to-day operations.
Getting started
Cloudrms is an independent third-party shop that sells extension modules for the RMS Cloud hotel platform. We build and maintain modules that plug into your existing RMS Cloud account through the official RMS Cloud API, adding functionality that is not included in a standard RMS Cloud subscription — for example advanced revenue optimisation, additional OTA distribution channels, accounting-system integration and custom analytics dashboards.
Yes. Every Cloudrms module is an extension to RMS Cloud, never a replacement. You need an active, paid RMS Cloud subscription with API access enabled on your plan. Modules authenticate against your RMS Cloud account using your RMS Cloud API credentials and operate on top of your existing RMS Cloud data.
No. Cloudrms is a fully independent third-party company. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or acting on behalf of RMS Cloud Pty Ltd or any of its parent companies. RMS Cloud is a registered trademark of RMS Cloud Pty Ltd Cloudrms builds modules that use the publicly available RMS Cloud API.
Sign in to your RMS Cloud account and go to Settings → Integrations → API Access (the exact path can vary between RMS Cloud releases). Generate a new API key and copy it immediately — RMS Cloud typically only reveals the full key once. Then paste it into your Cloudrms account settings. See our guide 'How to access your RMS Cloud account' for the full walk-through.
API access in RMS Cloud depends on your RMS Cloud subscription. Not every RMS Cloud plan includes API access by default. Contact RMS Cloud directly to confirm that your current plan includes API access, or to upgrade to a plan that does. Cloudrms cannot grant or change RMS Cloud API access — that is entirely controlled by RMS Cloud.
Purchase and billing
After you place an order you will receive a secure payment link by email within 5 minutes. Click the link and complete payment on the secure page. Modules are activated as soon as payment is confirmed. Billing is monthly — you will receive a new payment link each month, or your saved payment method will be charged automatically if you have set one up.
Every Cloudrms price is quoted in Australian dollars (AUD). If you are based outside Australia your bank may apply a currency conversion fee. Applicable GST is shown at checkout based on your billing country and ABN status.
Yes. If you are a GST-registered business, provide your ABN at checkout. We will issue a GST-compliant invoice in the name of Cloudrms Pty Ltd (ABN: 47 856 234 891, Australia). B2B tax invoices are issued in accordance with A New Tax System (Goods and Services Tax) Act 1999 (Cth) .
Yes. You can cancel any module subscription at any time from your Cloudrms Client Area. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No cancellation fee applies. See the Refund Policy for pro-rata refund terms in the middle of a period.
Bundle pricing is available for orders of 3 modules or more. Get in touch at support@cloudrms.org before placing your order to request a bundle quote. The discount is applied as a credit on your next invoice.
Technical and support
We monitor the RMS Cloud API changelog and test every module against each RMS Cloud API release. When a breaking change is detected we update the affected module and ship a compatibility fix, typically within 48 hours of the RMS Cloud API change. You will receive an email notification if a module is temporarily unavailable due to an API update. No billing occurs during confirmed downtime caused by third-party API changes.
Your RMS Cloud API key is stored encrypted at rest with AES-256 inside the Cloudrms infrastructure. It is transmitted only over TLS 1.3. It is never shared with third parties, never logged in clear text and never visible to Cloudrms support staff. You can revoke access at any time by deleting the key from your Cloudrms account settings, which also immediately revokes API access for every active module.
Email support is available at support@cloudrms.org, Monday to Friday, 09:00–17:00 AEST. Average first response is under 4 business hours. For getting-started support, in-app guided setup flows are available in your Client Area for every module. See also the Guides and Academy sections of this site for self-serve documentation.
Yes. You can connect several Cloudrms modules to the same RMS Cloud account using one API key. Inside your Cloudrms account settings the API key is stored once and shared across every connected module. For Multi-Site users, each RMS Cloud property needs its own API key — one key per RMS Cloud account.
Cloudrms modules read reservation and rate data from RMS Cloud through the API in order to execute each module's function (for example, generate rate recommendations or pre-fill guest-portal data). This data is processed transiently and is not permanently stored in Cloudrms infrastructure beyond the operational retention windows described in the Privacy Policy and the DPA. No guest payment-card data is ever accessed or stored.
